Abstract Landscapes With Mark Janes

On Wednesday 13th September from 11 a.m. - 12 noon Mark Janes will be giving a free to access talk . During the talk he will be telling the story behind some of the works in the exhibition based in the Tain and District Development Trust pop up shop on Tower Street, Tain.



Mark will explain what he understands by the term “Abstract Landscapes” and why he likes to create them. He will talk through some of the techniques, including Intentional Camera Movement and digital post-processing.


Mark Janes is an outdoor photographer and educator based in Tain. He has a keen interest in the night-sky and seeks to incorporate this into his work, creating ethereal “nightscapes” that showcase the spectacular Scottish landscape in a new light.
