St Duthac Day Event - Save the Date

Updated: Mar 5, 2024

Come along and join the St Duthac Book and Arts Festival Group in St Duthus

Masonic Lodge, Tain to celebrate St Duthac Day on Friday, the 8th of March 2024.

St Duthac, or St Duthus as is often the spelling, is the patron saint of Tain.

With two talks planned and a soup and scone lunch with tea and cakes follow,

the day is shaping up to be a real feature for March.

The event is free and donations are most welcome.

Jason Ubych from Tain and District Museum speaks about his recent remarkable trip to the Czech Republic . Not to be missed!

Local author Dave Smith will be talking about his publishing journey.

There will be wide selection of pre-loved books

available in exchange for a donation, as well as a raffle with many excellent

prizes. Anyone wishing to donate books or raffle prizes should contact the

Group’s website stduthacbookfest.com and leave a message.

This is the 3rd St Duthac Day celebration organised by the Group, which also

organises the St Duthac Book and Arts Festival in September.

Planning for the Festival is well in hand, and once again there will be an exciting selection of authors, speakers, walks and workshops to choose from.

Festival dates Tuesday 10th to Sunday 15th September.
